A water cup - which is a later replacement.
A period key which works the lock but sticks occasionally.
A brushes & several old tubes of paint

lovingly used fine mahogany box & contents have a patina
of scratches , scrapes, ink & paint stains.
All colors have been used, many on two sides.
Some only on one side so you can read the name of the color or
the makers mark.
