   This solid bare Aluminum wire is bendable, light weight & inexpensive.
   The Extra Soft wire bends easily.  The Medium Stiff wire holds its shape better when bent ( shown at the bottom of this page)
This silvery colored metal comes in a satin finish. This raw metal can be buffed up to a bright finish or painted. Aluminum resists tarnishing more than copper or silver.
   Thin wire (20,17 &14 gauges) works well for jewelry & fine wire wrapping. Thick wire (4,6 & 8 gauges) is often used for wire armatures & sculptures. While aluminum does not easily solder it fastens well by other means such as epoxy or glue.

We have used these for years on our own metal. It is a soft cloth embedded a polishing powder that leaves no residue. Originally made for jewelry it is also great brightening up craft work.
